Keira Forbush is an 18-year-old dancer who began her journey at the age of 7. Over the years, she has had the opportunity to learn from numerous exceptional instructors, allowing her to grow both as a dancer and as a teacher. Nine years ago, she moved to Rock Springs and began competing, training at Studio 307 Dance Center. Under the mentorship of Jessica Cantrell, Keira has taught dance classes to children ages 5 to 16 and has choreographed a wide range of routines, including her own solos.

Throughout all four years of high school, Keira was an active member of the TRDT high school dance team, serving in leadership positions during her final two years. Her dedication and hard work have been recognized with numerous awards at competitions, including several high point honors. She is also a three-time state champion and an all-state dancer. Her training has expanded beyond Wyoming to include opportunities in Utah, enriching her experience and deepening her love for dance.

Choreography plays a central role in Keira’s identity. She thrives on creating routines that inspire and connect with others, and she finds great joy in teaching children to dance and helping them discover the same passion. Through teaching, she has gained valuable life skills—such as patience, communication, and leadership—that will benefit her in any future endeavor.

Looking ahead, Keira is excited to pursue a career in dance. She will be studying dance in college and is eager to continue growing, creating, and sharing her love for the art form. Dance remains her greatest passion, and she looks forward to where this journey will lead her.
